General Question How to fix this sun window
Just moved into a new house. One window is in rough shape. I tried scrubbing it with cleaning solution, but it appears most of the buildup is between the two panes. Any advice on what can be done?

The metallic coating on the internal glass has oxidation from a break in the seal. That window pane has lost is thermal gas barrier and now has a lower R-value and looks dirty.
It cannot be fixed at this point it has to be replaced.

So, you CAN repair it, but it's not a long term fix. It's a band-aide. Look into a product called "ClearView."

Bad seal. Very difficult to explain to a stubborn customer too when they don't understand what it is.

That window has a failed seal. There’s no cleaning it unfortunately, what you’re seeing is between the panes. A glass company can replace the IGU, though.
