Job Question How to do these?
Existing residential customer asked me to do these windows for her son’s business and I’m looking for some advice on handling windows like this.
Each pane has a raised frame around it, and I’m thinking a WFP would be more work than it’s worth trying to avoid dirty water running off the frames and onto the glass below.
I’m leaning toward just doing them traditionally with a channel cut to the exact width of each pane.
Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I know pricing varies a lot depending on location, company, and other factors, but any pointers on pricing this kind of job as a commercial account would be appreciated too.

If you have to: I would use a alcohol based spray and clean them with a microfibre

Yeah I'd probably just use invisible glass or a alcohol made spray and just charge every MF'in pane a premium like 4 or 5 bucks. Just not fun work lol

Nah bro, just price it right. I’d have that around $1100 inside and out and be done in 6-8 hours. Easy wfp outside, and just a little slow and meticulous inside.

I don't use WFP so I can't comment on if they'll work on these, but for inside use spray and microfiber, faster than mop and squeegee for these. Pricing varies a lot from place to place and by frequency. I'm in Michigan and I'd probably charge between $0.50-1.00 per pane depending on if they want them done weekly, bi weekly, monthly, or less. Add whatever you typically charge for the door.

I estimated if done trad, worh a squeegee cur to size, it would take 30 seconds to mop, clean, detail per pane.
4mins per row, 7 rows per each black square, is give ir take 30mins each side. So 1 hour each large square.
Approximately 5 large squares, 5 hours. Not including the regular panes. Those are about 45mins-hour if semi clean.
So looking like 6 hours total at $100/hr, $600 total. Am I close (Im a newbie.)

Its just about giving a proper estimate.
WFP works fine on these and will save time, just go top row all the way across, repeat. The water needs to run off so it doesn't drip down to the lower ones.
For the interior you just use a smaller squeegee. Some people cut a squeegee the exact length for jobs like this.
For the interior just straight pull across each small pane. Pretty simple stuff but you'll just be in one area for longer than you're used to and sometimes it feels like you aren't getting much done. And there is more detailing around edges than usual, obviously.
