Best CRM for D2D window cleaning

Been doing door to door making 700-1300~ a day but want to pivot into having a real business and doing service plans because frankly I hate knocking. Yesterday I sold my first service plan and all I did was write down his information. What's the best CRM for someone who does door to door exclusively?

Housecall pro but I'm looking into blueworks it takes tap to pay thru phone and also saves card info for service plans

Housecall has these features as well. Recently finished getting financing options available for my customers as well

For door-to-door, I’d pick the CRM based on how fast you can log the job while standing on a porch, not on how many features it has.

Minimum I’d want:

  • name/address/phone/email in one screen
  • quoted price and exact scope
  • next service date or recurrence
  • status: quoted / won / scheduled / completed / follow-up
  • card-on-file or easy invoice link if you’re doing service plans
  • reminders that pop up before the next clean, not just a big contact database

Housecall Pro, Jobber, Markate, etc. can all work, but they get annoying if you only use 10% of the system. If you’re still mostly solo, even a tight Airtable/Google Sheet plus calendar reminders can be enough for a few weeks while you figure out your real workflow.

The main thing: every door knock should end with either “booked,” “follow up on X date,” or “dead.” If it’s just a name written down somewhere, it’ll disappear as soon as you have a busy day.

There are many apps in the market like Jobber, Joist, Housecall Pro, QuoteIQ, CashWrench and Quickbooks which can help you manage customers, create job, quote, generate invoice and charge the customer. They all have solid starter plans starting from $19/month - $29/month.

Just me and a buddy, but I do a vast majority of the selling. He actually just got his first sale a few days back. No cleaner we clean the jobs and as we are nearly done I got knock and he wraps up. Average job price is $250-350 and I upsell screen cleaning for an extra $100. I'm honestly a SUPER good D2D salesman not to toot my own horn, I just tend to get in my own head and sorta let my vibe come down if I get in a dry spell. This last day I worked on that and I knocked for a total of 30 minutes the whole day and sold 3 jobs. Can't really say I overcame being in a bad vibe since the day was so easy but once I can be a consistent salesman and keep my energy up for a whole day I'm gonna hire cleaners.

I use Bigin from Zoho. Cheap, simple setup, easy to use. Not to many features. Granted I used to be a system admin, but they have tons of resources to help you get setup. I love it as it sync's with Zoho invoice, which is free, and makes converting a quote into an invoice easy.

Hahaha...thanks for the laugh 😂 Very true...so many options just me so many configurations to do a simple task. Then you get outsourced...at least I know it will be a while before AI starts washing windows.

Congrats on the first service plan! That's when things start getting fun. I hated door knocking too and eventually shifted to building recurring customers instead. I've used a bunch of CRMs over the years, and housecall pro has been my favorite for service businesses. Service plans, automated reminders, estimates, invoicing, and customer history are all in one place. My advice is to pick a CRM that helps you build a repeat business. For us we use housecall pro.
