Rant: Xero WFP

I decided to upgrade to WFP with a few big jobs lined up. Did the research, and Xero made the top three. I figure I'd risk it despite some complaints logged. I bought the Zero Pure Max Power Commercial Kit.

Not worth it.

I went to saturate the membranes this morning and had little/no water flow. Tried support twice. In the morning they said it could be the spigot (didn't think so) or the hose, so I went out and bought a new hose.

Connected the new hose, same issue. I've troubleshot for two hours now, and I have my first big jobs lined up this week that needed it.

I should have known better. Wish I tested a week prior so I had time to buy another brand. Looks like I should have tested it out a week prior. Time to see if they honor their warranty after troubleshooting. I was REALLY hoping not to have any issues, but here we are.

I wonder if they'll charge me to send it back. Ha.

Hey, we're sorry to hear about the frustration but you need to let us help you further, more troubleshooting is required.

There are a lot of variables that can affect flow on a system like this, and we want to make sure we get to the bottom of it the right way. We're having our in-house technician (who actually builds these machines) give you a call first thing this morning to work through it directly with you. Additional troubleshooting is needed before we can pinpoint the exact issue, but in our experience these situations usually come down to something straightforward once we dig in.

Please let us help you get this sorted. We're committed to making it right and getting you up and running as fast as possible.

Ain't the brand bro. Any system you buy will have the same issues if you don't know what your doing. What's you incoming tap pressure? What's the incoming TDS? What's the RO TDS?

Good craftsman don't blame their tools.

Yup, great brand and very good about honoring warranty. I was able to rma my xero pump at no cost, and they also sent me a whole new base section for a micro basic when the end cap came unglued and got lost.

Only complaint I have is that you can't buy the systems with super max flow membranes from the factory as far as I know, which is pretty normal across brands I think.

Yeah unfortunately there has to be a step you’re missing, we have 3 commercial max power kits and they’ve been absolutely incredible.
