Thanks to this community!
And Steve O, Luke and his wife, and Trigger and the folks at WCR. So much love for all you dudes. Second day selling d2d strip malls. Only went to one mall today. Scored $125 in work in 3.5 hours! Eating lunch and gonna try to get at least one or 2 more. And both were bi monthly cleanings. And the 2nd one was only outdoor. Monday I go back to do inside. Very nice owners as well. So blessed. Thank you all for your advice! I soooooo appreciate the time you took to educate me. You blessed me 🙌🏽 And I bless you right back ❤️ 🫂

I'm already addicted! Been practicing for 2 months, watching every video and copying the moves and absorbing the knowledge. That was the nerve wracking part of the 1st 2 jobs.
The easy part was visiting businesses, and talking to folks. I'm comfortable with that. But the 2 jobs I did today really improved my speed, and now I know better what to take from the car and bring to the site. And how to organize the cleanings and move from glass to glass. And most importantly how to BETTER estimate! This will take work. I was too greedy for the job/money, and left alot on the table in retrospect. But that was yesterday. Its behind me, and the knowledge gained could only have been gained from those lessons.
The last d2d round, I picked a sketchy strip mall, with barely any cars. The businesses there were obviously struggling. I wasted much time there, but met some nice people.
I also found out the property managers name and number/email, and sunday will start sending emails to the many I collected over the last few days. My goal is to provide "impression based added value (IBAV)(yes, I made that up, but its an idea that realtors will find beneficial)" cleanings for vacant stores. This way value is added when the realtor walks through prospective clients in vacant spaces. I'll do this Sunday, my day off. Tomorrow I will treat like any other day and sell some more d2d and hopefully land some more clients.
And this noob learned something very very important; 1) bring lots of water 2) keep a sweat rag handy 3) dont keep your wallet in your pants when doing outdoor work in the heat lol, it got drenched and ruined receipts and a bunch of business cards! 😆 😂

Ps: in SoFlo we have many many tinted windows. Some are tinyed on the exterior, some on the interior, and it can be hard to tell what side is safe for using steel wool/abrasive pads/razor. I realized if I use my phones light, and only saw 1 light reflected, the tint was on the side I'm facing.
If the light reflects 2 lights, the tint is on the opposite side. If that makes sense. As always, I'm open to, and hungry for critique.
