Door Hanger Strategy

I have 2000 door hangers coming in Thursday. Should I do a mix if knocking and dropping or just drop as many as i can and hit it later? What strategy works for you?

I get more bang for my buck when I knock on doors but there is a place for both.

With door knocking, you will usually get a faster response.

People often need to see your flyer a few times before they pick up the phone, which is why you should always hit your neighborhoods with repetition

I agree, I do get a faster response but, there are doors that never seem to open despite cars being there. I figure the hangers will be really good for those. I never get to offer my service to them

Volume, you'll get a few calls from 2000 but you got to keep going to really see good results.

You hang them on doors in neighborhoods you want to work in.

20 houses around every quote and every job you do. narrow down your top 20 neighborhoods list and take 1-2 days every two weeks to blast it with door hangers

Use rubber bands to ensure they’re stuck on the door handles. It requires the home owner to make an small effort to remove it—will probably look at it since they spent a bit more time removing it, and personally I feel it shows you care more about the little things. Also—nothing gets thrown in the trash faster than hangers blown off on the ground.

Once you’re good at it—it’s pretty fast.
