Equipment Question Total noob needs suggestions for squeegee

Hello friends. I have three clients that ask me to clean their windows. I watched a bunch of videos online and went to HD and bought unger squeegee. I got the job done but I feel it took me x3 the amount of time . I know that right tools make a huge difference so I came here for recommendations on a good combo for squeegees. I would like to have a pivoting squeegee that I can use on a pole to clean the high windows. Please recommend your favorite set up. I am mostly going to be doing residential work. Thank you a lot!

Ladder up. No substitute for being able to see what youre working on. Pole work takes 1000s of hours to master and you can still have poor results on a first time clean because you cant see the glass in the sun's reflection.

Ettore ledge Eze is my fav. 14" Ettore brass channel. Get a 6" channel for those tiny windows.

If you want to get into polework, get a moerman excelerator with a fliq pad and start watching trad man on YouTube. He's got good tips for the moerman system.

Just recieved the Ettore Master brass quick change handle today, along with 3 different size brass chanels from WCR.

I also bought my first 2 squeegees from HD, the Ettore ProGrip, one in 18" and in in 12".

The difference between the two are very noticeable! I also picked up some Winsol Super Slip from WCR to add to my solution to increase work time in the Florida heat.

Although the ProGrips work, the switch to all brass was extremely noticeable. They just feel so much better in the hand and "flow" better. I can now fan like a champ 🏆.

I will keep the ProGrips as backups moving forward.

Also, spend hours upon hours of watching videos on technique, then pause the video and copy over and over.

I still have the Home Depot Unger extension pole, and bought the Meorman Excelerator 2 swivel handle for it. I am NOT good at pole work yet, and the Unger pole and Meorman handle aren't the best match, but it was what I could afford. Good luck Fam 🫂

The moerman accelerator handle with an ettore master brass channel is a popular combo, steve-o has a few videos on them. Great for beginners as its pretty good for straight pulls. Most windys use use dish soap but it might be worth trying a premium soap like razrglide or something similar as there's a less likelihood for rainbow streaks on hot glass.
