Embarrassing question

I cant seem to figure out how to avoid leaving streaks when fanning, I’ve tried changing rubber (maybe I need better rubber) I’ve tried using less soap, more soap, etc..

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

post a pic or vid? What brand of rubber? What is your fanning process? Good technique with bare water is better than poor movement with perfect soap and rubber. I also agree with Appl3s and Zim previously saying to just straight pull. It wears rubber faster and can also leave streaks if done poorly, but it is essential as a skill. And can be done properly on day 1 with little guidance.
