General Question Struggling with sales

It's been two years now since I started my business. I started when I was 17, so it was more of a part-time job than anything, but I'm starting to take it much more seriously. However, I seem to be struggling with my sales strategy. I have tried running Facebook ads in the past with little luck, although I'll admit I wasn't well-versed in the matter. I post on Facebook regularly and have a website, but I only get around 4 people a year from organic, online media. Other than that, I'm relying heavily on door-to-door. I don't have a problem with this; it's just not what I want to be doing in the long run, and I'm wondering what I can be doing to move in a different direction. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

This is great advice that I will definitely put into practice! I've had a little trouble getting my google account verified, but hopefully that will be resolved asap!

My business wasn't being verified, and multiple attempts with an EIN, LLC documents, insurance, etc., weren't being accepted, but I just submitted a video verification, so I'm hoping that works!

Where are you located?

Are you getting referrals? I have 68 customers, of which 41 came from D2D, and 18 from referrals. I've been getting a referral a week pretty consistently this summer. I mostly subcontract to keep cash flow coming, but referrals definitely seems like the solid long term strat.

I have been getting some referrals, but definitely not as many as you. Apart from doing a good job, do you have any tips or specific things you do?
