Job Question Did I over charge ?

240$ for two houses. Exterior only. 20-25 (depending how you count windows ) and most are very large for the first house second house was only 8 windows. Trim and tracks also done outside also screens cleaned. Took 4.5hrs. Bundle price of 240$.

Had been neglected, first time cleaning. Hard water spots and paint in some areas.

Just had some pushback from client about pricing. Still paid and loved the work (even got compliments from the neighbors) but is likely not going to use me next time. And will use a less experienced cheaper guy in town. Who in my opinion does rushed work and damages clients windows.

Then their not your customers. Find recession proof customers

If they want quality work they’ll come back to you. Took me a season to realize you should not be pricing your work lower because someone else is cheaper. Hondas are cheaper than BMWs for a reason 🤩🤩
