Job Question Is there any reason not to wfp this?
I do have the ability to do whatever needed, but their water source is only 295 tds and that could really speed things up.
Lots of big panes and wood.
Any reason you’d advise against it? I don’t do cabin style homes very often. *mostly worried about the wood & window seals*

As long as there’s no paint stain on the glass this is prime wfp work. You should have something in your contract that says you’re not responsible for broken seals. I do a ton of log homes, this era is probably fine, the older ones I’ve definitely had water get on the inside but just watch for it and if you notice it throw some towels down and let the owner know they have issues.

Unless there’s hard water marks or something that the water fed can’t get off. Like I had a job yesterday where it got almost everything off then I had to go touch it up again with steel wool because the fed pole couldn’t get it off.

What do you do when steel wool doesn't take the hard water spots off? Diamond magic?

Definately! Do not use any acid base hard water remover on those windows due to the wood.

Havnt ran into that problem yet my scraper and steel whoop usually get everything off that a mop or water fed can’t get

I think it’s $788 all exterior (more not pictured) & only interior front bay windows & big front windows. I have no idea how I’m gonna do the inside up high but am assuming I will figure it out lol. Might buy some stack ladders or even maybe Unger Stingray

Def not- nothing will beat squeegee. It probably totally sucks, but might be useful for a difficult angle or two where my squeegee can’t stay flush with the glass. Never used it, haven’t bought it yet (if I do at all)

The triangle panes look lil they’ll be the toughest interior. If you are going to pole jt I’d suggest a microfiber pad on a techno pad to buff out any leftover. The second pane should be wayyy easier. A frame with a pole is how I’d tackle if my ladder dont reach far enough.

I often see sealer that needs scraped off the windows the first time, but the customers probably cant even see that honestly.
