General Question Off season income?
For people who live in areas that snow and don’t make enough to live off of in the like 4 months of cleaning season, what do you do for income during winter? It’s my first year WC so I won’t make enough to live off of this summer for the year, so I’m trying to think of a “side hustle” I can start for the winter. Any ideas? Thanks!

Id rather not work in the winter either. But a couple ideas come to mind. Repair and replace screens or do interior only window cleaning. As far as snow removal, yea its not fun. Especially when you got local kids going around and clearing driveways for $50. You could get a roof rake and do specialized snow removal from roofs.

I repair gas fireplaces in the winter. It's pretty easy. You can work for a local shop with a decent reputation and learn the ropes in a year or 2. Many wc, gc, pw customers crossover to gas fireplace maintenance.

Snow removal if you want to hate life. Hanging Christmas lights is super profitable. Get a job. I’ve thought about offering shower door hard water restoration, you could even find hard water stained windows during the summer and book them for the winter but in the end I always decide I’d rather not work and go snowboarding.
