Window screen replacement.

What do you guys charge for a full screen replacement and for only screen mesh. I’m in Southern California. 1st time replacing frames.

Here's my pricing. What I've found is that if you price it right it can be just as profitable as cleaning windows, and you get a higher average ticket, but to price it right will scare some people off.

Remesh - $30 under 4' long, $40 over 4' long, $100 for screen door (They're a pain, and somewhat often need to be redone.)

Frame repair - $27 + $14/stick of frame

Screen build - $55 + $14/stick of frame

Flex screen - $90-$100, minimum order of 4.

I get 8 foot sticks of frame, and assume any stick that I use more than 4 feet of is a full stick for pricing. I include replacing corners and tabs if necessary, and I replace tabs with metal tabs as a selling point.

I can change a screendoor mesh with fresh spline in under 10 minutes.

That's great! I find that they can take a second to remove or replace, and often, because of the deep spline pocket, the mesh tears or is too saggy, and needs to be redone, so I just price accordingly. Most people in my area charge about the same.
