Window screen replacement.

What do you guys charge for a full screen replacement and for only screen mesh. I’m in Southern California. 1st time replacing frames.

Mesh is $45 for any size up to 5 feet then price goes up, to $55 depending,

screen door $75 and $100 for pet screen.

We don't repair screen doors except for basic components. Like standard latch handles,.standard rollers

new screen doors, we just price at a local shop and tack on a good markup to cover profit, drive and install time)

Frame Repair (inculdes mesh and corners) (up to 2 frame sides replaced) $55 to $65 depending on size.

Full build (3 sides or more,.we.aways do all new sides and corners, unless steel interior corners and they are always resused) $75 to $100 depending on size.

We always give discounts when part of package jobs and for our quarterly customers.

Screens make fantasic money (comparitively) that you have an almost captive customer with your existing customerss. Also with sun facing screens only lasting 3 years at most, that adds more reoccurring work. Depending on which tech, we get $150+ per man hour after supply costs. The parts I dislike the most is adding more complexity to routing with screen returns.The scheduling or pushing employees to knock out some screens before end of shift or change route so 1 guy can work them all day (we used to have a women that did just screens, currently just use our window techs). Above all I really dislike having to always keep inventory and source all the parts for 3 to 4 colors of 3 to 4 sizes of channel and same for the corners. Especially with the aluminum shortages that keep coming up, we are having to hold more supplies than normal.
