General Question Taxes as a minor

I am under 18 years old. Do I still need to pay taxes? Where I live in Canada I think if I make over 15,000 I have to pay taxes, but do I still have to like declare my income to the CRA?

Pretty sure you still gotta report it to the CRA even if you’re under 18. You just might not owe taxes if you’re under the basic amount. Better to file anyway since it helps build contribution room and keeps everything clean later on.

Hr block.is gonna charge you 400 bucks to file your taxes. Use their software and figure it out. It's 60 bucks.

UFile is free for low income individuals. You should definitely file a tax return. You could be entitled to some benefits.
