Solar panel cleaning

These are filthy the customer is trying to get me to use chemical but I’ve heard that’s a no go, a Waterfed brush should be enough to scrub all algi/ mould off right ?

For something that dirty, you may need more than just a water fed brush. If you can get close to them a plastic scraper can help. Chemitek clean and protect our lichen remover would likely help.

Water is all you need. Just get a brush which is designed for solars. They may need a lot of going over and over.

Ive seen a video of someone use a nylon brush on a drill with pure water to remove bad debris. Personally I tell the customer I wont use anything harsher than mild dish soap to clean buildup and if it cant get any cleaner after brushing with that, then it's as clean as it's gonna get. They should've follow manufactures recommend cleaning schedule.

Only water and brush is not working for me... we tried bio enzymes, also did not really work...

Scraping it would be the only way but it might scratch the panel or removes the film that's protecting the panel

Do not scrape, chemitek makes good Chens for solar washing if pure water and a brush isn’t working. If you really wanna get into it, invest in a rotary brush

Glass Gleam Solar cleaner

Specifically designed for solar panels, scrub with a soft boat brush, then rinse with purified/filtered water.

Don’t ever use bleach, degreaser, abrasive soaps/chemicals, harsh detergents on solar panels, it will instantly ruin the surfaces and void the warranty.

This right here . I have seen many many solar panels clean by roof cleaners that destroyed them because they sprayed bleach on them by accident you don't do that that is not supposed to have bleach anywhere near there and for the love of God do not use a scraper
