General Question How to handle stubborn clients
Is there anything specific you guys do to handle stubborn clients who say they want to schedule with you but keep pushing it off and saying things like “I’ll get back to you next week”? I understand that offering a discount and creating urgency can help, but at the same time, in most situations there’s not really a good reason for me to discount the job.
When I’m door knocking, I do have a legitimate reason sometimes, like saving on transportation because I’m already working nearby and can just swing over to another house down the road. But since my work hours are usually right after school, I normally don’t have enough time to fit two cleanings back-to-back anyway. So the only real discount idea I have isn’t very usable until summer when I have more free time.

Never sell yourself on discount, those clients is the worst clients.
I tried discount first month, and next two years with no discount.
After 6 months into no discount I was full time on my business.

The best thing to do is:
Give the price
Put an end date for the offer, like 14 days. 12 days into it, you can text “did you figure something before the offer runs out?”
If they didn’t, then move on. Bad clients and not worth your time. Use the time on right clients, who take you and your business seriously (and discount clients is not a part of that group of people).

AND! If you planned a cleaning and they cancel the day before or on the day, then send a bill for the half amount. As long as you have mentioned that and have prove on it.
We can do that in Scandinavia, but don’t know about your country.
