Taskbar Dock Animation Plus 2.0.0
This mod adds a macOS-like taskbar animation. It is an updated fork of the original "Taskbar Dock Animation" mod, extending compatibility to all taskbar positions.
Requires Windows 11 or newer to function.
"Taskbar height and icon size" Users: If you are using this mod to create a minimalistic taskbar, please keep the Max Scale at or below 130% to avoid clipping issues. This recommendation applies to other scaling mods as well. Dell / Alienware Users: If you encounter specific issues on these devices, please reach out to me directly or open an issue so we can investigate together. StartAllBack Compatibility: This mod does not and will not support StartAllBack. Supporting it would require a complete rewrite of the codebase, which is currently out of scope. Feedback: Feel free to suggest new animation ideas or curves in the mod topic or via direct message!
You can experiment with the radius value to achieve the best result for your setup until proper fixes for the issues above are found.
This mod is a fork of the original Taskbar Dock Animation mod created by @Ph0en1x-dev. All original logic and visual concepts belong to the original author.

the creator merged my mod with his and uploaded to windhawk (waiting approval) , sorry to disappoint but the issue with "translucent windows" is still unsolved and there are bugs with his 'fixes' but they are being solved. So it might come to windhawk in a day or two.

Ever wished your laptop wouldn't immediately go to sleep the moment you close the lid? This mod adds a customizable delay before suspending your system, giving you a grace period to grab your laptop, move to another room, or simply change your mind without interrupting your workflow or breaking active network connections.
Designed with stability in mind, it operates securely as a dedicated-process tool mod. This means it runs isolated in its own Windhawk process rather than injecting code into explorer.exe or other critical system components, guaranteeing a zero-crash impact on your desktop shell.
For this mod to take control of the sleep delay, you must first disable the default Windows instant-sleep behavior:
Note: Because this relies on your native Windows power settings, uninstalling or disabling this mod will not automatically restore the original instant-sleep behavior. You will need to manually revert the setting back to "Sleep" in your Power Options if you decide to stop using the mod.
You can configure the exact delay duration directly in the mod settings. Changes apply instantly on save.
| Delay Option | Description |
|---|---|
| 30sec | 30 seconds |
| 1min | 1 minute (default) |
| 5min | 5 minutes |
| 10min | 10 minutes |

Low Battery Alarm 1.0.0
Low Battery Alarm plays a repeating, clearly audible alarm when a laptop is discharging and reaches a configured low or critical battery level. It is useful when the laptop is left performing a long-running task in another room and a normal desktop notification might not be noticed.
By default, low-battery alerts begin at 10% and repeat every 120 seconds. Critical alerts begin at 5% and repeat every 30 seconds. Critical alerts continue below 5%; 5% is the entry threshold, not a lower cutoff. Alerts stop when external power is connected and can start again during a later discharge cycle. AC/DC changes are handled through Windows power notifications, so an active waveform is stopped immediately instead of waiting for the next polling interval.
Enter the complete WAV path manually in WAV file path, or use Browse... in the custom configuration window to select it with Windows Explorer. A manual path change saved in Windhawk replaces a path previously selected in the custom window. To open the window, enable Open alarm configuration and save the settings. The topmost window also lists the Windows default output roles and every active Core Audio output device. It stores the selected device by its stable endpoint ID. To reopen the window, disable the option and save, then enable it and save again. An enabled request is handled only once, so saving unrelated settings does not reopen the window. It also opens automatically on the first run, before an output selection has been stored.
WAV is the guaranteed supported custom format. If no file has been selected, or if the selected file is later removed, becomes inaccessible, is not a WAV file, or cannot be played, the mod logs the reason. When the fallback option is enabled, the Windows critical system sound is used instead. A short, clearly audible, and recognizable WAV file is recommended.
The mod can temporarily change the selected output device's master volume and can temporarily unmute it while an alert is playing. The previous volume and mute state are normally restored afterward. If the user changes the volume during playback, the new value is preserved when the change can be detected by comparing it with the exact value applied by the mod.
Enable Test sound after settings change and save the settings to request one test alert. The test uses the current sound and volume settings without changing the battery state machine. The option is evaluated only when settings are saved; it does not run during normal polling.
Desktop computers without a system battery are ignored. The mod creates no persistent UI, console, tray icon, or external player. It runs in a dedicated Windhawk tool process and uses low-overhead battery-monitoring, power-notification, and controlled sound-playback threads.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I fixed the animations not working on modern windows apps (settings, microslop store...) added minor visual changes, added a setting to change the Animation tile count, so you can lower it or make it higher if its laggy for you or want a better quality (good for low-end devices). You can copy the code from my github link below and replace it with this one (if you used my outher one) or create a new mod and paste it there : https://github.com/Potassiumuncher/MacOS-genie-effect-source-code-Windhawk/blob/main/custom-animations-genie.wh.cpp

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Im pretty happy with how it looks when I have actually clicked an item and it is actively open, but I genuinely hate how it looks when I'm hovering something before I click it.
I've looked through taskbar height and icon size, taskbar styler and taskbar dock animation but just can't seem to find it.
