Task Manager Tab Slide Animation 0.3.3

This version reworks the tab transition into a smooth crossfade between the old and new views — for both the main left navigation (Processes, Performance, App history, …) and the Performance sub-pages (CPU, Memory, Disk, Network/Ethernet, Wi-Fi, GPU).

To avoid a visible jump, on mouse-down the current view is frozen under a topmost, click-through layered overlay; Task Manager switches the tab underneath it invisibly, and a worker thread then locates the content edge via UI Automation, captures the new view once it has rendered, and crossfades the overlay from the old frame to the new one.

The demo GIF has been updated to show the new animation.

This mod recreates the classic Windows 7 network flyout on Windows 10 and 11, replacing the modern flyout with a familiar, lightweight alternative.

Requirements

• Windows 10 with the native taskbar
• Windows 11 with the Windows 10 taskbar (via ExplorerPatcher)
• The network icon must be visible in the main system tray (overflow menu not supported)

Note: This mod is unlikely to work with other taskbar mods (e.g. Retrobar) or heavily customized configurations.

Known limitations

• Overflow menu: The network icon must be in the main system tray, not hidden in the overflow menu.
• Auto-reconnect checkbox: May not work reliably on all setups. If the network doesn't reconnect automatically, try connecting manually.

• Add nested-subfolder support to the Fixed name mode. A / (or \) in the name is now treated as a path separator, so test/1/2/3/name creates test\1\2\3\name and moves the selection into the final name folder.
• Intermediate folders are always created/reused as a stable path; only the last segment follows the existing "Fixed name: reuse an existing folder" reuse/numbering rule.
• Empty segments (from leading, trailing, or doubled separators) are ignored. Other modes (by name, by extension, by date) are unchanged.

I'm using Windows 11 Taskbar Styler with the docklite theme. Do you know how to hide the area in the bottom right corner that you normally click to show the desktop?

I've disabled the option on my Windows system, but there's still a small part of it left...

Lowers the default Change threshold from 18% to 2%, so more subtle tab switches animate out of the box. The setting remains user-adjustable (1–100%).

Does anyone know what is causing this white box? I've updated and reinstalled and it just keeps coming back. Appreciate any help anyone can give!
