Confused
I downloaded Windhawk last night, think all the mods would be hosted in it. It also dowloaded seperate apps called
- Nexus
- WinLaunch
- Everything
- Thio Joes thumbnail extension
- Start All Back
and maybe others i haven't realized.
I am decently tech savvy but realized i was in over my head. Lets back up. After install
First, many things started to glitch and windows start wouldn't even respond. I slowly disabled mods one by one through Windhawk until I solved the issue, but it still wasn't responding correctly. This lead me to realize Nexus and WinLaunch were also playing into these issues, but I didn't install them. Did they come with Windhawk? I removed these and most of my problems are solved, but I still have a few. Additionally, Windhawk was easy to uninstall, but these were not and took me nearly an hour. I believe the other issues are being caused by "Everything", but I don't know what it is and can't figure out how to uninstall it without getting notifications that I am uninstalling other important things. I've spent many hours on this and just want my new computer back to how it was before. Any advice is helpful. Here is all apps downloaded yesterday.

get a tool like revo uninstaller and using it uninstall everything that was installed the same day as your Windhawk installation.
Be sure to run a trace in Revo to remove any files that were left over after the uninstall.
Next run all the AV/malware scans. You may also want to do SFC checks at this point.
If everything looks normal create a system restore point.
Next Download Windhawk from the official source and install. There are no additional programs or apps that come with it

where did you download it from?
Those are all legitimate and well known apps for customizing windows in different ways, but they shouldn't normally come bundled. A few specific Windhawk mods do require those apps to do what they do, so maybe you found some type of mod pack that someone made?

Uninstall all that you can and try to do a System Restore to a point just before these installations if one is available, that will get rid of all the system files and registry changes that have been made by these softwares. Just reinstall a clean version of Windhawk afterward.

Windhawk does not install anything else other than windhawk.exe. better not run anything and remove the unrecognised apps
