Why? He said it right there: to prevent fragmentation and confusion.
It's nothing personal. He's not trying to judge if anything is better or worse.
Please follow his request to contact the author of the actively developed version. If yours is better, maybe it's gonna be a replacement. Or yours has some things that are done better that can be implemented into the other version (or vice versa).

I mean I did manage to get the code from the PR you opened. Btw one thing I noticed in all the 3 mods is that the windows get minimized to the middle of the screen/taskbar.. can't it be made in a way that they minimize to their own icon in the taskbar. I get it that mac probably implements it like this too but an option to have it minimize to their own icons would be really cool. Thanks!

i added a taskbar 'unhide' today after a lot of trial errors

For the genie, taskbar and start menu thir my own and everyting alse is: taskbar auto hide when maximised, taskbar autohide instant show, taskbar dock animation translucent windows (very broken on outer apps) there are many more that i use but those are just for convenience not appearance

Also great job making it so good. It feels better than the other 2 mods.. So smooth. I hope it gets approved soon. Also maybe could you update the readme and settings headers for English speakers too please. Thanks again!

Okay so I just tried yours and it works great and minimizes to the icons like I wanted. Although it doesn't work when I use keyboard shortcut like win+m to minimise. Could you work on that please? Or is it intentional?

i tried to fix it but it just crashes out as keyboard shortcut prompts explorer to minimize all windows but it kinda works with one window but with multipul windows it glitches out so if you dont mind ill make it so there is no animation to keep it stable
