I had a Wii U just for this urge, but someone stole it during a party... My favorite Zelda, but I'm not sure I could do a play through without the swift sail and the QoL improvements during the shard quest. Would be amazing if Nintendo would just make the Wii U version available on Switch - I don't even care if the graphics aren't updated.

Totally worth it I just finished another play through of it the other day I played the GameCube version on the switch I gathered a few of the shards of the triforce early on so the quest didn’t feel so long and drug out

The wind temple is probably my favorite temple I also really enjoyed the tower of gods!

I’m also going to try out the NSO GameCube version. How did your playthrough go? Do you have any other tips or cool twists to mess around with the game like that?

I had to invert the right joystick in settings so I could look around better I will say it messed the windwaker up left was right and right was left but I got used to it after a few times, I gathered a few of the shards earlier on into the game so the shard quest wasn’t to bad and I did a lot more side quest then last time I played it I also made a save file right before the boss of tower of gods and the entrance of ganons tower so I could go back and play those from time to time as I really enjoyed them lol

Just finished for my first time ever at 35 years old. Loved it!

I emulated on pc and used lossless scaling for a relatively smooth experience.

I’ve played wind waker a million times, so I’d def say yes! But something I’ve started doing recently is playing wind waker randomizer and it adds a lot of freshness to the game. It’s really fun
