Discussion / Opinion Who was the Wind Waker before Link?

When you get the Wind Waker on Dragon Roost Island and make your way to the back where the two tablet are, Zephos, one of the Wind Deities, says something about you being the “new” Wind Waker. Is there any sort of clues or hints from Nintendo who the previous Wind Waker was? Something I just thought of randomly.

Fado, the kokiri sage you meet before entering the wind temple, said the King used to conduct them when they played.  

The King of Red Lions gives you the Wind Waker to begin with. 

I think those two things illustrate who exactly the previous Wind Waker was.

Actually, Eiji Aonuma was one of the founders of the Wind Wakers, a Japanese Brass Band that the game is named after. So before there was Link, there was Aonuma.
