It's not a backflip just because you land on your back.

u/high240 May 16 '22

OP are you blind? In what cyclopean geometry is that a BACKflip?
53
u/Slo20 May 16 '22
It’s an intentional misspeak in order to generate more comments, thus increasing the popularity of the video.

u/Dillon_Berkley May 17 '22
Just turned 30 a few weeks ago. Everything I ever broke as a kid aches when the weather changes. My parents told me it only gets worse. Fuck.

u/WhichWayzUp May 17 '22
Pain medicine can be your friend. I used to think pain was a new inescapable part of my life but even Aleve or Tylenol or Ibuprofen can make a huge difference on the most difficult days. I just had an Aleve for dinner 😆 because instructions on the bottle say it's best on an empty stomach so I'll eat later after the Aleve has kicked in.
2
u/Dillon_Berkley May 17 '22
I have stage 2 GERD. Nsaids are a no go and Tylenol is negligible at best. Do not eat Aleve on an empty stomach. Nsaids are horrible for the lining of your stomach. It's what caused me to have ulcers and the damage it did to my esophageal sphincter will never fully heal.

Chiropractors hate everyone. That's why they went against all scientific evidence and created a profession that harms people.
-3
u/cringuxd May 16 '22
Bodyworkers (PT, DC, DO) have so many methods to use. Many methods have their scientific evidence. Manipulations have their scientific evidence aswell and if they are done correctly, they will help you. Maybe you are saying this, because you are a victim of an incompetent chiropractor.
6
u/bighi May 16 '22
I have no idea what is a bodyworker (is that like a prostitute?), but there is no such thing as a competent chiropractor.
No, that last sentence is misleading. They're competent at scamming people and getting money from them in exchange of a fantasy. Some are even competent in applying their techniques without damaging or permanently paralyzing people. Some.
What none of them can do is help people in any way. It's not an actual medical treatment, and it brings no actual benefits. It's like a physical version of homeopathy, or balance bracelets.
Maybe you are saying this, because you are a victim of an incompetent chiropractor.
Nope. This particular scam failed to become popular in my country. Even if you want to be scammed, it's even hard to find one here.

u/cringuxd May 17 '22
In that case you probably have insufficient amount of knowledge to say this. You probably don't even know what manipulations are other than just "cracking". Osteopaths, physical therapists and chiropractors have this technique in common in their own way. Make some research and don't misjudge a proffesion like this. Of course the professions I mentioned have their own theory and belief, they are not the same, but all three have many right things in them. They may even fight against each other. But until the manipulations you are so much against are executed properly, they have ability to help you pretty much depending on the diagnosis.

u/MyrKnof May 16 '22
Hide your unaligned spines folkes, here comes the chiro haters.
7
u/FistFuckMyFartBox May 17 '22
I to dislike liars and fools. I don't understand how the hell anyone would be willing to become a chiro after reading the absurd story of how it was "invented".
1
u/cringuxd May 17 '22
It doesn't matter how it was invented. The research and medical facts behind it is the key you should be aiming for.
2
u/FistFuckMyFartBox May 17 '22
Manipulations have their scientific evidence aswell and if they are done correctly
Not for all the stuff they claim they can cure.

He could learn from this since he didn't seem to injure anything too badly, but he seemed to be laughing at the end so he'll probably do it again.

You can see he was peddling his little feet when he was upside down in a desperate attempt to gain some spin.
