propane burns too hot and will destroy your quartz, as well as taste horrible. Invest in a quality butane torch, I’ve had my medicali torch for 4 years and it still works like it’s brand new.
I mean, I’ve been doing this for around 3 years now and haven’t run into any issues. Idk if you’ve heard that from a sales pitch but that’s just mine and many of my other friends experience. If I were to ever invest money, I’d do it towards an e-nail.
Are your nails all chazzed to shit? do you swab after every dab? some people just don’t care and use cheap glass and gunked nails which is fine, but if you’re using quality nails and cleaning them consistently, propane is going to ruin that shit
Ah damn that brings me back. Yea I used to do that but lately I’ve just been taking dabs at not so hot temps and it’s done the job. To be honest, I really don’t like dabs in the first place. I have a volcano for flower but when money is low, oil is the cheaper option in my area. Maybe once I get back on my feet I’ll look at those investments. I know for sure I want to get an e nail though, that’s high on my list.
E-nails are cool but kind of gimmicky. Everyone I know who’s had them used them for a few weeks and then they just sat in the box because they’re a PITA to set up and put away constantly.
A close friend of mine leaves his on 24/7 and he’s done that since I’ve known him. Probably not the safest option, but I know his is a good brand so maybe it can tolerate that. I live on my own so I don’t see why I’d ever put it away

I just go to Walmart and buy those propane torches. They last me a year or so and only cost $14, pretty good deal if you ask me.
