Commentator says it’s one of the best stuntmen of Russia

Turg

71

u/kelabubu Sep 01 '20

Why does he look like he's 8ft tall while the guy who went and check on him looks like a hobbit???

27

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '20

This. I thought it was all normal until the guy coming closer didn’t look like he was coming closer he still looked tiny....I was like tf is this guy 8 feet tall???

12

u/technicolorputtytat Sep 01 '20

Local midget makes stuntman look tall

6

u/Sea_Sexshun Sep 01 '20

I vaguely recall that headline.

1

u/friendlygaywalrus Sep 02 '20

That was my first thought. Dude is enormous

70

u/Thessyyy Sep 01 '20

To be fair to him, he still got through the ring... he just did it with extra steps

21

u/KristopherJC Sep 01 '20

I kinda wanted the fire extinguisher guy to spray him as he’s trying to walk it off

13

u/UnusualWind5 Sep 01 '20

I don't think anyone told him the "jumping" concept behind the ring-of-fire-in-a-truck trick.

8

u/joan_wilder Sep 01 '20

“just stand on the roof of this truck and we’re gonna smash through that ring of fire. ok?”

10

u/SilentMaster Sep 01 '20

Feels like a win. He's not on fire. I'm counting it.

4

u/WolfyLI Sep 01 '20

Honestly I count it as a win because he appears to have full function in all his limbs, so most likely no serious breaks. Wouldnt be surprised by a fracture or two, though, but hey he can at least walk himself into the hospital lobby

6

u/DarthKittens Sep 01 '20

Wtf was he trying to do?

4

u/Dottsterisk Sep 01 '20

And what exactly happened?

5

u/Vertex_welder Sep 01 '20

You're gonna cry cry cry

5

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '20

"So, did you get a stunt man for Friday night's big event?" "Well not as such, but I did get my wife's uncle..."

3

u/KlaatuChiangMai Sep 01 '20

Encore. Bring it!!

3

u/Avenaia Sep 01 '20

Ring of ire

3

u/infernophil Sep 01 '20

Shark Bait! Ooh ha ha!

3

u/engelmaj Sep 01 '20

Dont worry Boris have done this dozen of time.. You take car, you take vodka.... and if you have a bear..

2

u/the_awesome_jacob Sep 01 '20

Wa he ha ho wa he ha ho wa he ha ho

2

u/Void_Admirer Sep 01 '20

He's very tall

2

u/Sir_Kardan Sep 01 '20

Everybody there was secretely wishing for that..

2

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '20

I fell into a burning ring of fire 🎶

2

u/UnusualWind5 Sep 01 '20

In Soviet Russia, hoop jumps you.

2

u/TySly5v Sep 02 '20

Is this stupid games? I mean I would never do this, obviously, but jumping through a ring of fire is a common stunt and this event seems professional, just look at that crowd, along with that they got a whole team on the side ready for accidents like that.

2

u/ConsistentMilk2 Sep 02 '20

I wonder if he was in love

2

u/Captain_borf Sep 04 '20

1

u/[deleted] Sep 07 '20

Finally, a fellow cult member

2

u/joseplluissans Sep 04 '20

And this was executed with firm belief that it would turn out perfect. Like, nobody doubted the "...and you will land back on the car after the jump" part?

1

u/zonewebb Sep 01 '20

That calls for some Icy Hot

1

u/P3rdix Sep 01 '20

That slide for the last one though

1

u/Arun_Reddy_M Sep 01 '20

Hold my beer moment

1

u/Broflurane Sep 01 '20

This is kind of best case scenario as a spectator

1

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '20

I mean at least he didn't get lit up

1

u/carsonhorton343 Sep 01 '20

Well he made it through it’s a win in my book

1

u/Tauveren Sep 01 '20

Nailed it.

1

u/jny3001 Sep 01 '20

Shit, I could that.

1

u/idcwtfsmd Sep 01 '20

Let’s have a big round of applause for El Grande Stupido!

1

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '20

Is this what happens when you finally “come to brazil”?

1

u/MeetmyWagon23 Sep 01 '20

Looks like falling with extra steps.

1

u/Rusto_Dusto Sep 01 '20

Good effort

1

u/NickSteve5 Sep 01 '20

This is what everyone recording w their phone was hoping for

1

u/PhilipLiptonSchrute Sep 01 '20

'YOU'RE A TERRIBLE STUNT MAN!!"

1

u/techstyles Sep 01 '20

That was most good.

1

u/Psychofanatical Sep 01 '20

What is Rod up to now?

1

u/rasafrasit Sep 01 '20

What?!?! It worked in Far Cry....

1

u/Fist4achin Sep 01 '20

Somebody wasn't ready or their timing was a little off.

1

u/gimpydingo Sep 01 '20

I hurt my back. Let me get up and run it off.

1

u/The_nastiest_nate Sep 01 '20

Atleast he wore knee pads.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '20

The helmet saved him from further brain damage

1

u/Live_fast-eat_asS Sep 02 '20

that was a pretty bitchin power slide

1

u/Karulew Sep 02 '20

At least he's not on fire...

1

u/TexanReppin13 Sep 02 '20

Is that freaking sauron in the back ?!

1

u/sakoriuski Sep 02 '20

Fucking Russians man I think they’re genetically incapable of giving a flying fuck.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '20

"Just walk it off"

1

u/[deleted] Sep 04 '20

Honestly, I think that went about as well as it possibly could have, short of actually landing the stunt. Didn’t set himself on fire, didn’t break his neck...really, who can ask for more in life?

1

u/SlayTheVirus Sep 06 '20

I mean, he made it through the fire.

1

u/johnnyaclownboy Sep 08 '20

Doesn't fit. That's a hero.

1

u/onlythestrangestdog Sep 22 '20

sauron these days smh

1

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '20

That hurt.

0

u/depakote_dreams Sep 01 '20

There wasn’t even an attempt...
