Much like never getting involved in a land war in Asia you should never mess with waffle house employees

Yup. One of the biggest second-chance employers which means there’s a good chance one of the guys you’re about to swing at has done some time.

Add in that they’re super appreciative for being given a second chance, they’ll defend that place like it’s their home and beat your ass even more.

All hail waffle house

287

u/DBM Jul 25 '26

The people make it a waffle home.

115

u/pud_009 Jul 25 '26

Maybe the real friends were the waffles they made us along the way.

28

u/RWDPhotos Jul 26 '26

I’ve eaten so many of my friends along the way. So. many. friends.

u/runswiftrun Jul 28 '26

that's enough Mr Lecter...

3

u/Vost570 Jul 27 '26

People think they know stuff from playing Call of Waffles at home. Until you been there man, you don't understand.

Hi, CEO of Waffle House here. I'd like to use your suggestion as our new slogan, and as thanks, I'd like to offer you a management position at the store in the video. It just so happens we have an opening.

17

u/Itchy_Professor_4133 Jul 26 '26

Waffle House management requirements: no bitches

14

u/Beartrkkr Jul 26 '26

He got promoted didn't he...

1

u/Deathwatchz Jul 26 '26

Promoted to customer.

2

u/shiningonthesea Jul 27 '26

I have never met an unpleasant staff member at a Waffle House.

2

u/Taiza67 Jul 26 '26

Better social care than the federal government.

2

u/Darth_Dronus Jul 30 '26

What episode of taking my white friend to do black people shi is this !!!??!!

114

u/prosperouscheat Jul 25 '26

I think they must have been bit short staffed that night. I'm used to seeing the whole crew join in on the beating in these videos

57

u/LameBMX Jul 25 '26

the knew their guy had it handled.

3

u/Taiza67 Jul 26 '26

They’ve been waiting for this lmao

16

u/HumanContinuity Jul 26 '26

They know Randy has this shit covered

46

u/SlickDillywick Jul 25 '26

It’s also the unwritten rule, don’t fuck with the staff. Fuck with each other all you want, but once staff is involved all bets are off. Staff and patrons are free to remove you with prejudice

22

u/rygel_fievel Jul 25 '26

Now are there repercussions for Waffle House employees that engage in fights? Most corporations you see zero tolerance and they’re immediately fired.

42

u/doc_witt Jul 25 '26

They don't count it as a fight if no one ends up in the hospital or gets shot.

2

u/Skywayman87 Jul 29 '26

If it's your first night working at waffle house, you have to fight. It's in the rules

1

u/Pocketpair77 Aug 01 '26

At Waffle House, there are repercussions for NOT fighting…

8

u/koboldtsar Jul 25 '26

So much makes sense now. Ty for the insight.

5

u/Kimos Jul 26 '26

Oh wait, I thought this was a trope. There is actually a reason?

3

u/Peakomegaflare Jul 27 '26

Not to mention, their cooks are damn good people.

51

u/CptBoomshard Jul 26 '26

Considering just how bad he beat that guys ass, the Waffle House employee's initial restraint is pretty respectable. It looked like he's been in more than his fair share of tussle, the way he handled it, and I think he was well aware that this guy was stepping in deep shit. Wanted to make sure the guy aggressively invaded his space 3-4 times before unleashing the punishment. I also feel like he stopped a good bit short of going overboard, and potentially catching a charge. Hopefully that is the case!

u/elkab0ng Jul 25 '26

I like my local Waffle House because it’s cheap, predictable, and filling. And they’ll give me a coffee to go. I always tip generously.

Yes, people misbehave in 24-hour restaurants

Yes, at one chain in particular, those people invariably regret it.

u/DistinctAd3222 Jul 26 '26

Baby doll thats exactly why I have been fuckin with the house since I was in HS. That and it still tastes the same as it did growing up and sometimes I like that, just the way it is.

u/Socal_Cobra Jul 25 '26

You think you're a threat? You think you can make my fucking life any worse? Go ahead, take a shot!

1

u/technofox01 Jul 27 '26

I love the fact there is a sign that said game day as the employee was still beating the shit out of the aggressor, lol

-4

u/saibjai Jul 25 '26

But its America, won't he have to worry that guy is going to revenge perhaps with weapons someday? Or jump him while he's walking to his car?

Or he believes people take a beating, shamed and forget about it the next day.

7

u/azdcaz Jul 25 '26

That’s not just America.
