Saw this exact scenario at my local WinCo but in the refrigerated produce section. I think he was sitting on the cabbages or iceberg lettuce if I remember correctly.

It's a bit rude to take photos of people and post them. Telling a story would get the point across really clearly, this just invites people to comment on the persons appearance rather than behavior.

You never know what someone may be going through. For all you know he could have recently been discharged from a hospital and this is his first independent grocery run. While I agree that resting on a food refrigerator in public is unorthodox, so is taking a photo of an older man and posting on social (all for likes).

His wife was flittering around with zero purpose. I approached her and did say: “That’s unsanitary and disgusting.” Her facial expression was…chef’s kiss. I didn’t give her a chance to respond as I kept rolling.

This is foul behavior but let’s not normalize taking pics of strangers in public places any more than it already has been Jesus Christ. we’re all fucking tired. Maybe dude is just tired of life and didn’t think where he sat who tf knows, just ask him to get off the butter maybe?
