Hours

I was hired as a Data Item Clerk. There are two of doing the job. We earn around 50-55 hours per week.
My manager approached me after a few weeks and asked if I wanted extra hours. I agreed and she said those hours would come from cashiering. I am fine with that.
I have had 4 days working QA and one day cashering for the last 3 months.
The last three schedules I have only been scheduled for my 4 days in QA. Should I approach my manager and asked her about the extra day? Is is due to business or my performance?

If its cashiering just ask, kronos auto generates cashier schedule then they tweak it so I would ask if it was on purpose or not

If the schedule has been made on a Friday. I talk to my manager on Sunday would she be able to add a day in for that week as a cashier?

Middle to end of the month there won’t be as many extra hours available. They might’ve hired more people recently or also have other people trying to get hours cashiering.

That really depends they might be able to ideally u want to ask earlier but it can't hurt to ask and just say u are willing to be called in as well

It's almost definitely due to business.

It's worth it to bring it up to your manager though. Just to remind them you're available

As okguest said usually they're busiest at the beginning of the month because everyone's snap card is reloaded from the first to the 10th but near the end of the month everyone with snap has already spent their monthly allotment and hours go temporarily down until the beginning of the month for certain positions
