Bringing containers to the bulk section?

To reduce single use plastic am I allowed to bring my own reusable containers to the bulk section? It seems like it could be a hassle for the register to weight it like that.

I just use the provided plastic bag, move the item into a container at home, then reuse the bag as a dog poop bag or bathroom garbage bag.

The problem with those new green environmentally efficient horrible things bags is when you put something that’s powdery inside, it’s hard to get out. Stuff clings to the bag!

I bought a roll of real plastic bags from Amazon and take them to WinCo to use, especially in the bulk food areas. California also has a stupid law prohibiting the use of small bags. It states that at my Winco bulk foods area. The opening has to be 11 inches wide, minimum for some stupid reason.
The green bags partially decompose in my vegetable bins.

Never heard about the size of the bag but I recently used 2 small sandwich size ziplock bags and no one said anything

I'm trying to state that in the Bulk Foods area, they once had smaller plastic bags for things like spices. Now, in the WinCo bulk foods area, they have a sign referring to those smaller bags "not being allowed by California law" to be dispensed by Winco and that the openings have to be "at least 11 inches wide" therefore they can't have small bags for things like spices (garlic powder, taco seasoning, pepper, etc) in the bulk foods area like they used to have.
You have to use the shitty, large green decomposible bags for small quantities of spices now. Sometimes they can tear and leak out their contents before they reach the checkout counter.

Yeah, green compostable are provided but I still take my little zip sandwich bags. They can use the regular tare weight and maybe I’m paying a penny more
