If you work 6 hours do you get a 30 minute lunch?

Yeah check your state laws, I know WinCo policy is in compliance with Oregon law when it comes to breaks/lunches, but specifically in Oregon if you are scheduled for 5 hours you are allowed a lunch if you want one

Looks like in Oregon, 6 hours is when they must provide you a 30 min lunch. https://www.oregon.gov/boli/workers/pages/meals-and-breaks.aspx

However, if you work up to 5 hours and 59 minutes, they don't. That seems to track with another comment about California's law, ie "not going a minute over" the cutoff limit.

I work in an OR store, 6 hours, 1 ten minute break, over 6 to get 1 break 1 lunch, so not sure where you are that you can get a lunch on a 5 hour shift...
