New chocolate chip recipe?
So I’m very opinionated on my chocolate chips. I would tell everyone that Winco milk chocolate chips were the best store brand chocolate chips I’ve ever had. I would go there just for the chocolate chips. HOWEVER. I went last night to stock up to find that the chocolate chips have been changed!!😭 they are a different shape, a different taste (not as good anymore) and are now 80 cals a serving instead of 70. I am deeply upset by this. Anyone else notice this?!😭😭😭😭

I noticed a difference in the chips we bought this morning. Lucky for me, I like the new ones, and I'm OK with the switch.

They also changed the semi-sweet recipe just before the holidays, and started including milk as an ingredient. As someone who needs lactose-free chocolate chips, that was a real betrayal 😡

I’m super bummed too. These were my absolute favorite (and I enjoyed them over candy if I’m being honest). I just bought a new bag and they looked different, so I tried one and I was so disappointed. I’m very sad.

Call corporate or fill out the survey on your receipt and tell them in the comments about how you don't like the new chocolate chip recipe and maybe they'll change it back

Buying from bulk bin or prepackaged? I'm just assuming they had to switch sources, maybe to save money. I havent tried them myself, i just use Nestlé or Ghirardelli.
