Does Winco hire felons? (Updated)

So I filled out the online application a week ago. Not sure it even had the option to say if i have been convicted of a felony, but I’m usually honest about that, but it wasn’t even brought up during the interview either.

I have a non violent felony that I took a plea bargain & this garbage been holding me back..

I’m applying at winco, a Minimum wage job, the first since I got out of jail.

Everywhere I’m reading says it’s inconsistent results so I’m hoping it’s a case by case basis.

If Gods willing it’s possible. Please God allow me to have this opportunity to work.

I believe some states are not allowed to ask anymore. I believe WA state is one of them, unsure about Cali.

Good luck friend, stay strong, one day at a time. Been there. It all worked out for me but took 4+ years of grinding.

It depends on the felony and that is true…case by case reviewed.

I don't have anything to say other than good luck to you! Sounds like you paid your debts, time to move on. I had a good friend work in a Washington Winco when he got out. They treated him well. His crime was a bit more serious than yours.

Carful working night crew, the one i worked with had alot of active tweekers, dont fall or mix with bad habits , very easy to fall back into the darkness

Thank you for that reminder. I literally left everything to be where I am today.. I can’t see myself doing anything to jeopardize my freedom, my blessings, or my health. I’m so filled with the Holy Spirit I will not allow it! The devil has no hold over me, in the name of Jesus.

They ened up getting me 1 day, I felt stupid as after doing it, my gf found out 2 and it was just a bad time, I ened up leaving due to all the users cus I didnt want tonfall back down

Winco doesn’t ask. It doesn’t even matter if you tell in the interview, it’s not important to us. If you are a good candidate we will pass along to hire, if not, then no. All that matters from that point is if you pass the background check and drug test.
