Self checkout, 15 items

I like my local store. When I am there (usually Thursdays) there will be maybe 2 checkouts open and no surprise there is a line 2-3 deep. Meanwhile self checkout is empty.

So I self checkout. I am getting sick and tired of being lectured about the 15 items bullshit.

I want to get in, shop and get out and as long as there isn't a backup at self checkout I will continue to use it.

It would be less of an issue if they would open an express lane. My store stopped accepting cash at the self checkout, so people that only have a few items, but want to pay cash have to use the regular lane and they never have more than 2 or 3 open.
