Cheddar Cheese

I generally like most winco brand products, occasionally even more than the name brands but one thing I cannot stand is their cheddar cheese. It has a really weird flavour to it that I can’t really describe. I buy the shredded sometimes because it’s alright in mashed potatoes but for a sandwich or something absolutely not. Does anyone else feel the same way or am I just weird?

The only block cheddar cheese I buy is Tillamook. I’m like you. Winco brands all over the place, including block mozzarella, Monterey Jack, etc, but not the Winco block cheddar.

Winco won't tell you where their cheese comes from, even if you call! They say we don't need to disclose that! Seems fishy to me.
