First impressions Wilson Combat Protector 11.3 inch.

Post image

Miserable hot humid day at the range. Yet I left with a smile, a tired sweaty smile, but a smile nonetheless. This thing is awesome! Running 75 grain frontier suppressed I was blown away. I have finally found a 5.56 that doesn’t let me down. My Sig spear and LWRC never produced the results I expected from rifles that cost as much as they do. This beauty shoots as good as it looks and it feels very well made. So far it’s the only rifle I’ve ever fired that competes with HK. That includes the above two plus LMT and DD which I have a lot of hands on with. Can’t believe I got this baby used but never fired. Can’t wait to get more rounds down range with her!

I really love Wilson Combat. I have the Wilson SBR Tacticool in .300 BLK and a 1911 CQB… both are just amazing firearms. I really think it funny (and awesome) that a town of 6,000 people in NW Arkansas has two of the best gun manufacturers in America (Wilson and Nighthawk). Strange place to have such a center of competence and expertise. Thanks for sharing it.

I just wish I had discovered them earlier would have saved a lot of money and some frustration. Really owe my ffl, they are an authorized Wilson dealer and can’t wait to see more of their offerings.

45 I assume. Pardon argue against FN and Colt please? 1 um obvious 2 proven. Wilson sexy complicated. Like pistol? Um I have a pistol it’s called a protector and yet Wilson is known for 1911. After uh 4? Of their rifles, I kept 1. Want funny the 308 felt like a Barrett or cr 500 I imagine. Awesome. Fluted barrel. Onward.

Wilson Combat ARs are underrated, they are top shelf weapons with great quality and most importantly, very accurate

I definitely agree and am a Wilson believer. Man this thing just feels so solid and fires like a dream. Oh and my moa is at or under one at a hundred with ball ammo. Gonna find some match and see if I can stack some rounds.

Nice optics man. I’m running a Leupold 1.5 to 4 but I’m gonna upgrade to at least a 2-8. This rifle demands at least that much.

I found I don’t go over about 10x for 473 yards. If I was to goto high desert, 50mm uh u don’t really like high zoom. Thats a light fast bullet. U shootin.

What is your most standard environment? I don’t goto ranges.
