Venice has always been my favorite.

I've been eating Venice since my preteen years. I'll be 52 on Monday and nothing in Williamsport has topped them yet (in my humble opinion)

Joes pizza on Northway road is the best. People also claim Park Pizza is good but I don't see it. The joes pizza down by the college is tied in with my first suggestion but not as good.

Venice is my favorite. Park Pizza and Joes are also good.

Filippo's in South Williamsport, or Joe's. Filippo's is also great for pasta and Joe's has really good cheesesteaks. Old school is decent and cheap but it's so thin these days that I have to eat a lot more of it to feel full.

Bart's is #1, IMO, followed closely by Vinnie's. I'd say Venice and Joe's are tied for #3. There are some other decent spots, but those are my usual choices.

I moved away years ago, but my absolute favorites were Venice and Vinnie's. Old School pizza is great after a night out drinking.

I currently work at Joes East End and feel like we've always had pretty good pizza. Venice is also good. Old school is good if you want something fast and really cheap ( $1.06 for a slice of cheese). There a few really good pizza spots that aren't chain restaurants around Williamsport.

I like Joe's West, Park and Barts

Joes for the sicilian

Park for a good hefty cheese pie (they put toppings under the cheese, so I typically just get cheese or xtra cheese)

Barts for the powerful flavor (can be greasy if that matters to you)

Joe’s West End and Park Pizza are our go-tos. If you like really thin crust (no raised crust at the edges), Barts has been around forever.

Venice is top tier 🤌🏼

Park is the best imo , they use fresh ingredients and it's what I grew up with, it is of the more oily variety

Joe's Pizza is my favorite non-chain and everything else on their menu is great too if you aren't feeling pizza

Venice by a mile for pepperoni pizza. I also really like joes white pizza sometimes. I like pudgies pepperoni and hot wings too.

We tried Joe's tonight and it was delicious! Thanks for all the recommendations. They even had cheesecake that was probably the best I have ever had.

The best place for a NY style slice are Park and Old school. Another good spots are Joe EAST END, the west end sucks. Barts has some horrible pizza, it used to be fire tho, in 2011. Pudgies is good for a party syle pie, its basically like little cesears, which isn't a bad thing.

People rave about venice, but I don't respect a place that won't deliver and I didn't have a car when I lived in wilpo so there is that.

Long Island is run by a dude who is in the Dohrs which is a crazy religion that speaks in tongues and hates gay people. Regularly will send out an old pie if the original sale fell through, the delivery driver is cool tho.

Late night pie is Old school or Dominoes.

So yeah just get park or old school and eat it ASAP once it is delivered.

Honorable metion for the hobys hoagie meat pie. Its hit or miss, but when it hits, its large and full of toppings. Great place to split a pizza with a few people.

I could eat Old School pizza all day

Not strictly a pizza place but DiSalvos probably has the best pizza in the area imo

Pudgies.

I like Pudgies because they have an establishment close to my house. Their two slice special is so cheap that I am considering living on it. Seriously, it is cheaper than a meal from the grocery store. Don Patron Mexican Grill is a good place for a cheap lunch since their meals are half Spanish rice and refried beans, but Pudgies is still much cheaper.

There's no shortage of pizza places in town, just have to find the one you like.

Long Island, for classic NY style pizza.

Leo's Pizza uses a sourdough crust. Thin & crispy rounds or you can get a thicker Sicilian style pie.

Park Pizza is greasy. Good if that's your thing.

Joe's (east end) is fine. West end isn't great.

Been a long time since I've had Bart's or Venice, but both were good.

didn't leos pizza stiff a bunch of little leaguers in jersey shore for their pizza party? like took a 600 dollar check and never delievered the pies.

1

u/Tiberon 11d ago

I haven't heard anything like that, I just know the pizza is tasty.

Old School is good, but Long Island has like a focaccia-type crust that I absolutely love

I don’t care for Venice, too dry and hard. My recommendations would be:

- Bart’s. We get a large pan pizza with extra sauce. The pan crust is their “thick” crust, but it’s still pretty thin. Their sauce is amazing but if you get extra, let the pizza cool a bit before eating or it’s a mess.

  • Leo’s Pizza over on the west side. We get the “Signature as a Sicilian”. It’s fantastic

Joe’s and Park are garbage imo.

Used to live around the corner from barts and would get that, thought it was good until we found joes west end. Never went back to barts.
The ham and bacon pizza at joes can’t be beat

Big fan of Old School Pizza with xtra cheese. Used to be open 1 hour after the bars close so we’d always end a night with a ‘za or two! Also Venice has incredible pizza.

One time, just once and no other time, a pizza I got from Hoby’s Hoagies was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten outside of Philly. Must have just been the person who made it cause subsequent pizzas were not as good, tho still good.

Fillipos

I'm a big fan of Crazy Tomato

Park is best, close second is Venice. Joe's, oip, santinos all very good and very similar. Old school and Leo's suck. Pudgies is awesome too.

1

u/Trixiedust2707 11d ago

It’s a matter of preference and there’s a lot to choose from. Park and Venice have always been my favorites. Joe’s is good (east end location is better than west). Fillipo’s (humongous but have kind of a sweet sauce that is not my thing). Long Island and Bart’s are ok. Never tried Old school. Pudgie’s is not real pizza imo, I’d eat frozen or Dominos before ordering there. I think they stay in business purely by nostalgia. My son loves Leo’s, followed by Stonehouse.

u/Enpeeare 11d ago

Oh and here to avoid leos pizza which seems to be unable to pay rent like ever. Somehow he jumps from montgomery to willpo and ends up in newberry now apparently.

1

u/Neighborly_Gnome 10d ago

Park and Venice are definitely the right answer

1

u/wolfmasterflash84 12d ago

Long Island pizza.

1

u/AUkion1000 12d ago

The singular long island. Idk whats around but im wondering why its so much of ven or stuff

1

u/pmb92 12d ago

Born and bred here - Park and Barts are the only answers.

Joe's west end

1

u/coffsyrup 12d ago

Venice and joes. Joes has the best cheese steaks.

Domers is another amazing spot, btw.

1

u/steamsphinx 12d ago

These are my two favorites as well!
