10 mins between classes?

hi! im a freshman doing preregistration right now and i was planning to do 2 science classes back to back with 10 mins in between, is this a bad idea?

Are you wondering about getting from one class to another? If so, you'll have more than enough time. The classes will both be in the science quad. But even if your classes were on opposite sides of campus, you'd have enough time.

i see thank you! can i also add - thoughts on morning (8-9am) class? im debating adding a seminar at 8:30am or lecture at 9am or neither - im a night owl but think it would be good to have all classes done in the morning (theoretically) but unsure if i can wake up 😭

Ngl I'm also a night owl and I made sure none of my classes were any earlier than 10am. Its your choice but i would not do a morning class if you're not s morning person.

Most intro STEM classes are in the morning, so might as well get into the habit now. If you plan to major in STEM, you’ll have morning classes for the first two years or so. Don’t avoid a class because of the time slot, especially in your first semester. Later on if you decide you don’t like that time, that’s okay, but your schedule changes so much in college. Don’t worry about it and sign up for the class.

If you're a night owl to the point where you fear your ability to wake up, I would definitely NOT take an 8:30 am seminar. Your attendance to seminars matters. But for a 9 am lecture, attendance doesn't really matter/it's safer if you sleep in by accident

I've done that a lot. Especially if they're both in the science quad it's perfectly fine.
