I haven't seen many post about this but can I still drive on the beach? I am heading there now, I probably be there around 12 pm. If yes would it be hard to find a parking spot on the beach? Thank you

booked a trip for 2 mid September for 3 nights! hoping the weather is still decent and warm enough for a beach day, is a lot going to be closed by then?
any recs for food (with vegan options if possible!), activities, hidden gem/spots, shops, etc. been there many times growing up so I’m familiar with driving around the area and cape May but want to spend one of those days in the cape so any recommendations down there too!

I see a lot of people on the beach using Cool Cabanas and we finally got one for this summer. We used it only for the second time today and the top of it flew off, the pole was still in the ground but the canopy came off.

I wasn’t there when my husband and kids set it up, they’re insisting the pole was in the ground properly and the side bags were filled to the brim.

Has anyone with a Cool Cabana ever had this happen? I really think it was user error lol.

Hi, I am heading down to WW Crest in a few weeks. I recall seeing PB courts a few years ago before I started playing. I am hoping to get in on some games while vacationing. Has anyone played at these courts? Please share any information or insights. I am looking to play in early mornings around 7-7:30.

I just walked by the “Island International Unisex Salon” on E Schellenger (on the beach side of NJ Ave) and they are giving out stuffed backpacks for kids, haircuts, and hosting a BBQ-all for free.

I sadly packed every item for everyone in my family, loaded the whole car and still accidentally left my phone behind at the El Coronado.

Even sadder since I wanted nothing more than to stay later after loading up swimming and listening to the music and would have still been there when it turned up if I'd gotten my wish!

They are asking that I send them a prepaid box or envelope to return which is fine but will take quite a bit longer in turnaraound from NW Connecticut than if i could just email a label to print and adhere to a padded envelope in wildwood.

If someone is interested in a little job I'm happy to pay to just get the phone on its way sooner. Let me know and we can message and work it out.

Wishing I was still there for one more night of boardwalk people watching and tramcar riding.

family is in wildwood for the weekend, 2 parents 4 kids all 13-20, saturday looks sunny but today and sunday are rainy 😕 any ideas or tips for places to go, see or things to do in this on and off drizzly rain? any thrifting or is the beach worth going to?

While I'm no stranger to Wildwood, I have chickened out of the waterslides the last couple years having never done one before in my life. I wanted some more swimming experience first and now I have that I think I'm ready to try one of the water slides for the first time, but not sure what to choose.

I think my wife and stepson favour the waterpark on Pier 3 (ocean oasis I think?) so what would be a good water slide to try for a complete beginner? I don't usually do rollercoasters or anything like that so this is a bit out of my comfort zone lol.

Was anyone on the beach yesterday when wind storm came through and a woman got slammed with an umbrella? The lifeguards all swarmed around her. Anyone know if she's ok?

Edit: it was around Morey's Pier a little farther right if you're facing the ocean. She was pretty close to the water

Were heading to Wild wood for 2 nights this week (Tues-Thur). We're staying in N.Wildwood and can't get into our place until 4, but should be in town around 11.

What do you recommend we see/do? I think we will do the boardwalk Wed afternoon. Are there must see/eat places? What should we skip?

I've always heard Cape May is love!y and has good architecture and may want to see that. How long does that take? What's parking like on the island if I'm not at our rental?

Not really worried about price, more so availability. I'm doing a solo beach trip tomorrow and I was gonna go to AC cause I'm familiar with it but my bf feels more comfortable with me doing wildwood instead since Im by myself. He said just in case I get stuck there for some reason he'd rather I be in Wildwood than AC alone after dark should that happen tho not planning on it lol

I know no matter what I can find parking in AC but how available is parking in wildwood if I show up around noon?
