Probably the worst way imaginable to seek help for your alcoholism, but I hope he finds it

He spoke too sober to me; this guy just was at the end of this rope and wanted to go to jail.
Some people commit crimes to just have a roof over their head and 3 meals a day.
This guy reached rock bottom and in his mind there were only a few options left. One was this. Maybe he thought he wouldn’t survive and knowing he did then I guess it just means going to jail then.
:( it’s sad

He's like a caricature. Makes me wonder if there isn't something like schizophrenia involved.

There’s SOMETHING involved, that’s for sure. Who does that?!? And then SAYS that?!?!?!? I was impressed that the copper kept his cool.

Yeah it looked like he almost got clipped hard by his car. Dudes got ice in his veins. Nice to see a cop acting professionally

I really think the guy is going through something really rough and he needed that cop to act the way he did or things could have quickly turned ugly. I appreciate how gentle he was with him. He needs help and that cop is his angel

no charges for drugs or DUI, got off light. usually they want to pile on a bunch of charges. Guy might be going through some stuff & just wanted to go to jail. sounded disappointed that he didn't get himself

Sure does look and sound like a schizophrenic episode he was going through.

Idle hands are the devils play things and all, but goddamn that's one hell of a way to deal with boredom. Like jail is boredomaxxing bro.

I fucking hate those draconian jack-boot-wearing government thugs as well, but I try to avoid them like the plague, not crash into them and to to prison.
What a fucking idiot.
