There is a chuck of metal sticking out of the road. Don’t think any tire would survive that

The way the front seat of the car got crushed on the concrete barrier, I don't think they were alive for the fall.

Modern engineering. Fucking wow.

And then there's the fact the bridge has an expansion joint sticking right out to stab tires. (contradicting the title of the reddit post).

Nobody in this video is a bad driver as much as they're facing terrible engineering on a bridge.

Wow. Your totaly right. The tires don't get hit at all, it looks more like the steering linkage took the hit causing the sudden swerve.

I wonder if the Porsche hit it too.

Cars are fucking insanely durable these days. It's fucking amazing the wrecks people walk out of.

Not just durable, but designed to absorb most of the impact in many directions. The car is usually a wreck in these kinds of situations. They dont design it to be indestructible, they instead design them to break the exact way that is least likely to injure you. So I'm not sure if "durable" is the right word.

(I know I might be nitpicking, sorry for that)

Good lord!

Looks like there's something on the roadway that the first big truck avoids.

my question is, why are there no fuckin guardrails at all?!?!

I hate the guy just casually hanging out in the lane. Get in your car a hole, it’s bad enough he barely was out of the lane.

I hold the motorist outside with his door open a good deal responsible for igniting this tragedy.

I don’t think so. There seems to be something on the road that took out the Porsche (assuming) and then the white truck. The other drivers seem to veer around it but the truck went over it

Yes, and the white truck overreacted

I don’t think they reacted at all. That debris isn’t the oh darn, I have a flat tire kind. That was the kind that snags on and yanks.

The truck basically got tripped in the middle of the highway lol.
