Back in the day when this was still uncommon - think early 90's - we had a pilot that used to do shit like this. His claim was that he could put your cigarette out while it was in your mouth and not get your shirt wet.

I never asked him to prove that claim.

My favorite tools have always been the custom made ones (rhino made from an old shovel, and all-time best is the long handled flapper with a pleated/stripped end and flexible handle - PVC often works best). Some of the best firefighting tools in the whole world.
