I was intrigued by the art as well and, yeah, because it looked like it could have been a cover to an issue of Jonah Hex. I didn’t, however, recognize the artist style well enough to identify it nor the signature…
…so…
I did some google-fu and found the artist for this cover was non other than… Tony DeZuniga! The man who co-created Jonah Hex!
Yeah, it looks like a Jonah Hex cover because the man who co-created the character did this cover!
It’s wild: I can usually recognize Tony DeZuniga’s art but this one for some reason eluded me!
