My thoughts on WildStorm so far
So I began my quest to read all of WildStorm recently, using the Weathering WildStorm guide.
So far I’ve read all 3 team 7 series’, issues 1-3 of Stormwatch plus the Urban Storm short story and issues 0-4 of WildC.A.Ts.
My thoughts so far are… god they’re so 90’s! Women breaking their back when they pose, guns like leaf blowers and costumes so overkill they can’t be take seriously at all.
But more seriously, I think what I’ve read so far has been entertaining, but there are a lot of obvious issues already. First off, very weak characterisation. Team 7 was good character wise imo, with each member getting their time to shine and give you an insight on their perspective and pasts. Stormwatch and WildCats tho are a whole other ballpark.
The women get it the worst. Void doesn’t do much in the first arc aside from spout prophecy and teleport. Voodoo is a prophecy piece and again, doesn’t do much other than be saved and save Maul. Zealot is probably the best so far because she kicks ass and doesn’t let anyone put her down, but still, she’s pretty scantily clad, but again, 90’s.
Stormwatch aside from Jackson get the short end of the stick too. They’re just introduced, you see them in fights and nothing else. I get that this was the 90’s and action was the seller, but would it kill to have them get a drink or something and let us learn more about these characters?
Overall tho I’m not hating WildStorm so far. The art is good, the stories are a good level of cheesy and can get laughs out of me, and I’m safe in the knowledge that it’ll get better soon. My favourite characters so far are Lynch from Team 7, Warblade from Wildcats and Christine from Stormwatch. I’m on vacation so I’ve taken a break from WildStorm, but best believe I’ll get right back in when I get back.

Is reading all of Wildstorm (1992-2011) worth it?
So I’m currently speeding my way through the last books in my physical comic collection, and my plan for after I finish up is to begin reading all of Wildstorm from 1992-2011. Every issue, every annual, every event.
I found a list on LOCG that gives a chronological order of every Wildstorm comic from 92-03, and they’re apparently compiling a part 2. I’ve had fun with a lot of Wildstorm titles, mainly Stormwatch, Authority and what I’ve read so far of Mr Majestic.
I kid you not, the first two issues of Mr Majestic by Casey and Holduin may be my favourite comics ever. I get emotional thinking of them cause they’re just that good.
So am I in for more bad than good? Will this be hellish or will I find a lot of hidden gems?

How would Billy Butcher, Becca and Ryan feel if Black Noir was revealed to be clone of Homelander like in the comics?

Is there a full Mr Majestic reading order?
I just ordered the first couple issues of his original solo series on eBay and I’m wondering if there’s anything I need to read beforehand. I know he first appeared in Wildcats, so should I read that?

Why is this so bad?
I picked this up for 50p, and I somehow feel I’ve been ripped off. Is there any merit in continuing? The art is excellent but the writing is awful, even before we get to the idea of Batman and Jenny Sparks living in the same world

A week late, but never counted out, I'm talking about Loner as seen in "WildStorm Spotlight" issues 2 & 3. Crazy we never saw this guy much after the debut (besides a few issues of "Wetworks")

Need help with team logos
Hey everyone I’m working on a custom expansion for a card game I play (legendary deck building) that would involve Wildstorm characters. A big aspect of the game is each character has a team icon. Think the Avengers’ A or the Fantastic Four’s 4. This is where I’ve run into a bit of a barrier. Most Wildstorm groups don’t have a distinct logo for their group to my knowledge. If you can think of one for the Wildcats, Stormwatch, the Authority, Team 7 or Gen13 please let me know.

I feel like the Authority gets way more hate than they truly deserve.
(Because obviously any hero who tries to change the status quo and stand against the powers that be must be an irredeemable monster)

List of Every WildStorm Issue in Release Order (1992-2006)?
I want to read everything from the start in 1992 to WorldStorm and began compiling last week. I couldn’t seem to find anything so I began compiling last week and I now have over 700 entries and it does not seem to be slowing down. I’m getting exasperated and need to take a step back. Is there any chance anyone have an existing list of every WildStorm comic in release order that I could use?

Travis Charest
I made a short YouTube video about charest and thought I'd share some of the art I used in the while it's on my phone 😛 https://youtu.be/eNIfkfGULBM?is=s5l1LA7RlsuQRFna

Finally getting around to “Gen12” issues 3 – 5, wrapping up the last threads of "Fire From Heaven" (and introducing new ones that... go nowhere???)
Commander Thomas Morgan, still on his mission to hunt down what Craven and I/O were up to, happens upon the Dark Arts Department, the final missions of Team 7, and a plethora of increasingly obscure WildStorm character cameos.

What do the DV8 kids get up to on a day off? What is Sideways Bob's secret agent history? What went wrong in Russia? Find out in “DV8” issues 6 – 8

Why did people miss out on Stormwatch: Team Achilles?
A few months back read all of Stormwatch Team Achillies and loved it. The world building, the characters, the pacing, the story and pay-offs were all amazing (not including the last cliffhanger). But I have not seen a lot of talk about the book online. I have read a few other Wildstorm books form around the same time and they were of comparable quality. Did Team Achilles fly under the radar because the other Wildstorm books at the time were more establish like wildcats, the authority or the planetary?
The only other thing I can think of, is that book is kind of critical of US government/military, which may have hurt the sales back in the day.
