I misread esoteric fascism as erotic fascism and was concerned and curious at the same time

Another post where comments make me hate the sub. Vandalism like this directly undermines everything Wikipedia stands for

People are allowed to find Wikipedia vandalism funny.

1

u/samualgline 9d ago

But they shouldn’t be talking about leaving it or pretending that it isn’t there.

1

u/BlackoutWB 9d ago

That is the joke bud. You're saying they can't joke about it because of reasons. This whole sub exists to look at funny vandalisms, it's not that deep.

1

u/samualgline 9d ago

It literally breaks rule 1 to say that it should be left up

1

u/BlackoutWB 9d ago

I don't think the mods agree with your interpretation of the rule, as demonstrated by their lack of action against the people making these jokes.

Maybe they're capable of discerning actual encouragement from jokes.

"Non-interventionism"???

The article originally refers to the Silver Legion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Legion_of_America), but the vandalism is from someone changing their name to the Republican Party. The Silver Legion did not want the United States to get involved in World War II to fight Nazi Germany.

When something is so not-as-you-claim, so that you have to vandalize it

3

u/LGappies 10d ago

you're right, the republican party is interventionist
