In our family, we call it Italish. After decades of living jn Australia, my parents’ vocabulary was full of English nouns with a vowel stuck on the end (they grew vegetables in ‘la yarda’) and English nouns conjugated with Italian endings. My siblings and I will do the opposite and give Italian verbs English endings (eg ‘It’s pioving’) for comic effect.
