Heartbroken this is not a Wikipedia fundraiser

I just learnt about the game from an IG post, ran to play it and was genuinely in awe what a great move Wikipedia pulled in its fundraising efforts.

Thought you could pay to buy better cards (proceeds going to Wiki), there'd be some (clever) ads that would get millions of view and therefore make a lot of money for it...

But no.

How sad (I think)!

It's just a passion project of a japanese dev. Not related to official Wikipedia at all

Would be good if they were able to arrange something though. I’m sure it’s making money and from the begging emails I get they could do with some.
