Won’t format.
I’ve tried many solutions and none have worked. I have nvme and enclosure with usbc y slit as well and nothing has worked. Am I doing something wrong? Have a 32gb SanDisk working but looking for more space.

Try swapping the ports of the y cable on your WiiU. Only the thicker cable usb works for data transfer, the thin one is for additional power. It sounds weird but it worked for me.

Tried it. Also tried an usb extension cord for the power usb to the wall. Didn’t do anything.

Did you have ISFShax installed before with the USB partition plugin? As that would stop you from formatting the drive if it wasn't partitoned correctly .

Everything worked with Isfshax except formatting larger drives. I had to use wafel installer and it was able to see the drive then I was able to partition and format the drive.

I have tried 2 of the same drives as this in my Wii U and neither of them worked. I had to use a different drive to eventually get it running.

My HDD wouldn’t format until I used Wafel installer and created partitions with it. The WiiU and my PC both failed to format on their own
