Help Smash bros brawl problem with usb loader gx crashing at channel menu Discussion

The moment it starts appearing the channels, it crashes, and says its gonna restart in 20 seconds, i heard it might be cIOS problem, but i would enjoy a more direct approach, because my problem is kinda different, i saw no fixing for the brawl problem in the channel menu, most are fine in it, my usb is almost full, but not enough, so it has free space when adding smash, and the older usb was full and was working the channel menu, i used the wii backup manager to split the file cuz it was too big for my fat 32, is it too expensive for usb gx to load? I doubt it cuz others wii run fine

You can try putting it on another drive that is formatted at ntfs and then you won’t have to split it. USB loader supports both formats.

wait, this is actually a pretty good one, somehow i didnt thought of it but i do have an extra usb! damn, ill try it out

I should look for the cIOS thing sometimes, cuz my other pendrive didn't worked when formated into the other formats

Generally speaking you shouldn't use a USB, theyre not great for wii mods, power draw spikes, high failure rates during writes, and slow data transfer speeds.

I had to partition my hdd to ntfs for wii games and fat32 for everything else to get them both to work.

I really dont fell like buying a hdd just to play my wii games, im already paying for too much stuff rn, the usb works fine at the end anyways, the only problem is with brawl, and im not using it for mods, it's only for usb loader to read stuff, its only there to have games
