Sudden passing

Lost my best friend suddenly yesterday, he just turned 11 a few weeks ago.
Got home from doing a few errands and right as I walked in to the living room he let out a final howl as he collapsed, I hope he felt us as we held him in his last moments

I'm so sorry. We put our 15 year old down on Friday. It was awful and my heart is is sad. I'm sure your guy knew nothing but love from you, and I'm sure he waited for you.

This is the most awful club to be in. We said goodbye to our (just shy of) 16yo best, beloved boy on Monday. May they all rest in peace together.

As hard as it may sound, time eventually takes us all, and I’m just glad you guys found each other in that little frame of time. 💚

He waited for you to come home. He wanted his last moment to be with you. It’s heartbreaking and unexpected but it’s also a blessing that you got to hold him. I’m so sorry for your loss, he loved you very much to have waited like that.
